Mark Zuckerberg May Be the New Ross Perot

For those who have been following politics with a curious eye, it sure looks as though Mark Zuckerberg is making a run for the presidency.

The Facebook founder has traveled to far flung areas of the country, including some of the more crucial swing states. He has managed to visit 43 states in the last year and a half, and although Zuck (as he is called by his friends) denies that he is seeking public office, the activities in which he is engaging appear to be those of someone who has his sights set on the Oval Office.

Democrats Seek Out Celebrities to Run for Political Office

Celebrities have the ability to greatly influence the beliefs, attitudes, and behaviors of our society.

A multi-billion dollar endorsement industry, which pitches everything from diet aids to reverse mortgages, serves as proof of the bona fide clout that celebrities possess as an adjunct to their fame.

Stars who have had the good fortune of becoming household names hold a particular advantage in being able to make a viable run for public office.

The Republican Party has had a history of successful candidates that hailed from the entertainment world. Names include the likes of California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, California Congressman Sony Bono, California Mayor of Carmel Clint Eastwood, and the epitome of celebrity political victors President Ronald Reagan.

The Publicist at the Center of the Donald Trump Jr. Story

These days the mainstream media seem to be myopically fixated on one news story alone, the one in which Donald Trump Jr. had a meeting with a Russian female lawyer.

While anchors and pundits endlessly obsess over the minutia of the meeting, attention on one key attendee named  Rob Goldstone seems to be routinely overlooked, perhaps because his persona and identity do not fit well with the establishment media’s narrative of choice.

Goldstone, a heretofore obscure entertainment industry publicist, is the author of the email that facilitated last year’s meet-up between the president’s son and a lawyer, who ostensibly promised to provide opposition research concerning then-Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.

Joe and Mika Loved Trump Before They Hated Him

Although these days it is hard to imagine, the truth is that morning cable hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski once had such a friendly relationship with President Donald J. Trump it became a source of concern at MSNBC’s parent company NBC.

Scarborough regularly heaped praise on then-candidate Trump and was even rumored to be one of Trump’s possible running mates.

The former Florida congressman actually refused to rule out running as Trump’s vice president and was known to have doled out political advice to him in the pre-election season. As a result, Scarborough took a great deal of heat from the elites in the mainstream media.

Hollywood Hysteria over Paris Climate Accord

Immediately after President Donald Trump announced his decision to exit the Paris climate accord, Hollywood’s “geopolitical experts” flooded the media landscape with their madcap predictions and negative prattle.

The action taken by the president should not really have come as a surprise to anyone who is even mildly aware of politics and culture, whether he or she resides on the left, right, or center of the climate change spectrum.

After all, during the election cycle the president, who in his short time in office has already made good on a number of campaign promises, also explicitly said that once elected he would pull out of the accord, due its fundamental unfairness to the United States.

Dwayne Johnson`s Film Flops Following His Announcement of a Presidential Run

Failing to come close to studio and industry expectations, Paramount/Skydance’s “Baywatch” was a surprising flop at this weekend’s box office.

With a budget of approximately $68 million, its five-day tally was only $26.6 million, while experts had expected it to haul in $42 million during the same time period.

While the film critic community has panned many projects that still end up performing well at the box office, this did not turn out to be the case for “Baywatch,” which garnered a meager 18 percent on the Rotten Tomatoes website.

100 Days of Protest Theater

Another day, another protest. Over the past weekend various left-wing groups coalesced to make their way down Pennsylvania Avenue in Washington, D.C. for what organizers dubbed “The People’s Climate March.”

Counted among the activist crowds were two of the more well known leftist faces, Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio and former Vice President Al Gore.

As is emblematic of these types of events, a few hundred related marches and/or rallies were staged around the country. Lurking behind the protest events was left-wing billionaire and ubiquitous donor to subversive organizations George Soros.

Far-left Hollywood Partly Responsible for Crisis in Venezuela

The people of Venezuela are currently suffering through what can only be described as a full blown humanitarian crisis, and some big name celebrities are partly to blame for the nightmarish conditions that are plaguing the South American country.

Venezuela’s problems began when far-left wing dictator Hugo Chavez grabbed hold of the reins of power in 1999, after having failed in a coup attempt to take control six years earlier.

Chavez told the same malevolent tale that socialists always use to manipulate the populace: Each and every person will have an equal share in the prosperity that is sure to come.

Mainstream Media Slam Jimmy Fallon for Being `Too Soft on Trump`

When Jimmy Fallon returned to host “Saturday Night Live” this past weekend, America learned what the mainstream media use as criteria to evaluate today’s entertainment.

Apparently, the quality of writing, depth of material, delivery of lines, etc., are not as important to mainstream media outlets as whether the entertainment content in question sufficiently attacks President Donald Trump.

The same media pundits that praise Stephen Colbert and “SNL” for non-stop anti-Trump programming have found Fallon wanting for his apparent failure to hit Trump hard enough.

Hollywood Liberals React to Missile Strike on Syria

In response to the recent chemical weapons attack in Syria, which injured numerous men, women, and children and took the lives of scores of civilians, the Trump administration authorized a military strike in the region.

U.S. ships in the Mediterranean launched 59 Tomahawk cruise missiles, which struck the Al Shayrat airfield in Syria, the same airfield from which the chemical weapons were unleashed.

In the aftermath of the administration’s military action, Hollywood elites have taken to social and conventional media to let their opinions be known.
